Am village peak
By conquering 375 three-tiered steps, visitors will reach Lang Am Peak. Local people here tell a mysterious story that, the name originated from the past when a wealthy Chinese person lived in this area, to store his gold, silver, and treasures, he came here and hired some villagers to carry the valuables up to the mountain peak for hiding. However, the villagers only saw them go but never return. Since then, the villagers have referred to that mountain peak as Am village Peak. Standing on the mountaintop, visitors can admire the panoramic view of the village and part of the mountain town of Con Cuong. Along the way from the foot of the mountain to the peak, there are various plant species such as bamboo, orchid, and some ornamental plants and herbs, which are interesting to observe. Moreover, you can enjoy the harmonious singing of birds. If you are lucky, you may even spot some adorable animals such as monkeys, squirrels, porcupines, and bats hanging in the caves.
